PENNY FERRY BRIDGE

A new crossing in Durham City it carries pedestrians and cyclists. Originally named the Millennium Bridge it was renamed the Penny Ferry Bridge after public consultation, the name deriving from a ferry which once existed nearby.

It is at the north end of Durham.
