Bridges On The Wansbeck

BOTHAL MILL BRIDGE

This bridge crosses the Wansbeck west of the village of Bothal on a minor road going south to the A196. It is a narrow bridge with iron rails at each side and replaced an earlier bridge in 1982. Footpaths lead towards Morpeth along the densely wooded river banks.

A steep hill on the south side leads to the village of Hepscott.
