BARN FLATT STEPPING STONES

These steps are located through a gate off the minor road going east from Wallington Bridge and lead over the river to some woods. Across the road is Garden House, part of the Wallington Estate in the care of the National Trust and built in 1766. The stones ar just large rough stones placed in the river bed. Steps lead from a stile up the tree-lined slope on the south side.
