Bridges On The Tweed

NEW A7 TWEED BRIDGE

This bridge on the A7 trunk route replaced a much older bridge (see Tweed Bridge, Sunderland Hall entry), and is situated south of Galashiels near where the Ettrick Water flows into the Tweed. It is a low bridge resting on concrete piers set among the hills.
