Bridges On The Tweed

STOBO BRIDGE

A minor bridge on a track giving access to Easter Dawyck farm to the east of the Tweed, up a hillside track. It was re-constructed and repaired in 2011.

The village is a long one stretched out along the B712. Stobo Castle is nearby on the west bank of the river. The former Biggar to Peebles railway was adjacent to the bridge.
