Bridges On The Blyth

OGLE BRIDGE

Ogle Bridge links the villagesof Ogle with Whalton village to the north. The bridge is set in farmland at the foot of a hill a little north of Ogle and has a 15 foot span. There are white rails to either side.

Ogle is an attractive small village dating back to medieval times and had a 14th century castle.

Type - beam, steel beams cast within concrete slab, masonry abutments.
Position: half a mile north of Ogle, Northumberland.
