LONG PLANTATION BRIDGE

An attractive old stone bridge hidden away on a track leading from the B6309 Kirkheaton road, it lies in a wood called Long Plantation. It can also be reached on a footpath going west from Bradford. Rarely seeing sunlight the bridge is bathed in gloom and in need of repair.
