Bridges On The Aln

EAST BRIZLEE BRIDGE

An iron girder bridge replacing an older wooden bridge of 1877 it was built by Dorman Long. The timber rails give it a more rustic appearance and it is set among pleasant meadows and trees, linking paths. Nearby is an attractive stone bridge crossing the Shipley Burn.
