Bridges On The Aln

ABBERWICK MILL FOOTBRIDGE

A footbridge on a quiet stretch of the river, the bridge is in a dilapidated condition and is closed awaiting demolition. It gave access from the farm buildings at the mill to Woodall Farm Cottage over the Aln. The river here is narrow and flows slowly through the valley. The bridge is reached down a hill on a very minor road. Across to the north are fields with a wood to the east.
