ALNWICK A1 BRIDGE

The A1 road by-passed Alnwick in 1970 and this new bridge was built in 1969 as part of that project. It is built of steel and concrete with rails at either side and has a 70 foot span and was widened in 2003 when the road became dual carriageway.
